• Mark Your Calendars for the Middle School Show, Madeline's Christmas

  Oakcrest School is showcasing its Middle School Show, Madeline’s Christmas in the Oakcrest Theatre on Friday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

  "In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived twelve little girls in two straight lines." So begins this delightful story of Madeline's Christmas! Come with Madeline on another adventure as she tries to help all of the girls, who are sick with the flu, get home in time for Christmas. Based on the book by Ludwig Bemelmans, see all of your favorite characters, Madeline, Miss Clavel, all twelve little girls, and even mouse, come to life in this musical staging of the classic children’s story.

  A musical for old and young alike, families with younger children are especially encouraged to attend. Madeline’s Christmas is directed by Brittney K. Sweeney with Musical Direction by Anne Miller and Choreography by Kathryn E. Kelly.

  Tickets for Friday and Saturday night are $10 adult, $5 student. Tickets for the Saturday matinee are $5 per person and $20 per family. Join the cast and crew for a talk-back after the Saturday matinee. For more information call (703) 790-5450.
